The LOC is key for a successful organisation of Annual General Meetings, in collaboration with the Programme Organising Committee (POC), the EC and the GYA Office. This committee is formed by the host of the upcoming AGM, after the bid is awarded.
The 2025 LOC is co-led by GYA Co-Chair Chandra Shekhar Sharma and by the Co-Chair of the Indian National Young Academy of Sciences (INYAS), Nishant Chakravorty (ITT Kharagpur, India).
This Committee is formed by the local (National) Young Academy members and GYA Members and Alumni who submitted a successful bid to host an AGM, and normally also includes early-career researchers from the host country, members of the host country’s young academy and other local stakeholders.
