As a member of the International Science Council (ISC), the GYA is delighted to share news of the ISC’s latest cohort of ISC Fellows, including 20 GYA members and alumni! Through their scientific leadership and work to promote science in the public domain, ISC Fellows will support the ISC’s mission to act as the global voice for science. The GYA congratulates all new ISC Fellows, who will do their best to bring science closer to society and help address urgent societal problems. Many of the newest ISC Fellows were nominated by the GYA, and many by other ISC member institutions. This recognition by the ISC of so many outstanding early- to mid-career researchers serves as a testament to its unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of scientific leaders.

GYA and the International Science Council
Since April 2020, the GYA has been an Affiliate Member of the International Science Council (ISC). The ISC brings together the natural and social sciences through over 170 international scientific unions and associations, as well as national and regional scientific organizations, including academies and research councils. As global science organizations, both the GYA and the ISC seek to advance science as a global public good.
