Stefan Kohler

Biography

I am a research associate at the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health of Heidelberg University, where I lead a research group on global health and economics. I hold a doctorate in economics from the European University Institute in Florence and a medical degree from the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. I am an academic editor for PLOS Global Public Health and a collaborator in the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Collaborator Network. In the past, I was the speaker of the Global Health Section of the German Public Health Association (DGPH) and a member of the Global Young Academy (GYA), in which I co-led the Global Health Working Group.
