I am currently a Professor and Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellow at University of Technology Sydney in Australia. I obtained my PhD from The University of Queensland in Australia. My research interests focus on wastewater and water treatment technologies, sludge and waste treatment technologies, bmicroplastics, antimicrobial resistance, greenhouse gas, and bioenergy. I have received many international/national/local awards such as Eureka Prize for Outstanding Young Researcher—'Oscars' of Australian Science and Vice-Chancellor's Award for Research Leadership and Development. I have published over 200 peer-reviewed papers.
