The Science and Technology in Society (STS) Forum, inaugurated in 2004, is an annual international conference held each October in Kyoto, Japan. The 2025 edition, taking place from 5–7 October, marks the 22nd Annual Meeting.
The Forum provides a global platform for policymakers, business leaders, scientists, researchers, and media representatives to discuss how science and technology can best serve humanity.
GYA Co-Chair Yensi Flores Bueso (University College Cork, Ireland) will be speaking in a panel on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare on 6 October.
GYA members Francesco Maurelli (Constructor University, Germany), Co-Chair Siok Yee Chan (Universiti Sains, Malaysia), Carina Geldhauser Telitsin (ETH Zurich, Switzerland), Alma Cristal Hernández Mondragón (Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico), and Oscar Xavier Guerrero Gutiérrez (Cinestav, Mexico) will participate in the Forum.
