Open Science First Fridays

The GYA’s Open Science working group is organising Open Science First Fridays – a series of discussions on current topics impacting Open Science, ranging from ChatGPT to Open Science policies on every first Friday of the month.

The lectures feature GYA members, alumni and external experts who will share their insights on the following topics:

“Rethinking scholarly publishing in the age of preprints and AI” 

 

Michele will discuss the potential for models that deliberately uncouple the dissemination of research from its subsequent evaluation and curation, including the challenges posed by current incentive structures and opportunities created by the AI boom.
