Led by the GYA Women in Science working group, a two-part online workshop “Inclusive Leadership for Women in Science” will be held on 24 and 25 July.
The workshops will be designed so that you can join both or only one, depending on your time zone availability.
When:
24 July – 13:00-16:00 UTC
25 July – 19:00-22:00 UTC
The online workshops build on past GYA Inclusive Leadership workshops (GYA trains Inclusive Science Leaders – Global Young Academy), which focused on empathy, (self-)awareness and inclusive practices in research contexts.
Building on this concept, with a particular focus on leadership for Women in Science, the upcoming workshops aim to empower Women in Science – as well as other participants who are welcome to participate – to exercise leadership in an inclusive way. Interactive online sessions will address topics such as imposter syndrome and self-advocacy, work-life balance and resilience-building.
The workshop concept is being developed together with facilitators at Inclusive Innovation.
