Early-career researchers, postgraduate students and innovators are invited to submit abstracts for the 16th African Academy of Sciences Biennial Scientific Conference and General Assembly, taking place 15–17 December 2026. Under the theme Science, Technology, and Innovation for Sustainable Development and Economic Prosperity in Africa, the conference offers a platform to showcase research, share innovations, connect with peers and contribute to Africa’s science and development agenda. Abstracts of up to 300 words are welcome across themes including scientific discovery, sustainable development, science systems and translating knowledge into impact. Accepted submissions may be considered for oral or poster presentations.
