The Annual Assembly of The German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina – the GYA’s host academy – provides a space for exchange, interdisciplinary perspectives, and critical engagement.
The Leopoldina Annual Assembly this year revolves around the theme: Autonomy.
The topic was proposed by three members of the Section Psychology and Cognitive Sciences: Alexandra Freund (University of Zurich), Bernhard Hommel (Shandong Normal University) and Wilhelm Hofmann (Ruhr University Bochum). Their idea is that, over the two days in Halle (Saale), the perspectives of different disciplines will help to create a comprehensive understanding of the concept.
