The Southern Africa Science Leadership Workshop “Resilience in Science Leadership during the COVID era” will take place from 23 – 25 August 2021 online.
The Southern Africa Science Leadership Programme (S-ASLP) aims at developing early and mid-career researchers in the areas of thought leadership, team development, engagement and collaboration, which are essential in the professional and career growth of African research leaders. S-ASLP also aims to create a network of African science leaders from Southern Africa, and across all academic disciplines.
The S-ASLP is a joint initiative of the Africa Science Leadership Programme (ASLP) (a cooperating partner of the GYA), the Young Academy in Mauritius initiative, the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), Mauritius National Chapter and the Doctoral School of the University of Mauritius.
