The MENA Science Leadership Workshop (SLP) – “The Role of Collective Leadership for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals” will take place from 6 – 8 September 2021 online.
To prepare the next generation of scientists for the complexities that inter- and transdisciplinary research, this workshop focuses on strengthening collaborative leadership skills of early to mid-career scientists and scholars.
The workshop will practice collaborative leadership strategies in the context of working towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and is a joint initiative of the Africa Science Leadership Programme (ASLP) (a cooperating partner of the GYA) in collaboration with the Egyptian Young Academy of Sciences (EYAS).
Working with excellent early to mid-career researchers in Arabic-speaking MENA region in the areas of thought leadership, team management and research development, the workshop aims to enable them to solve the complex issues facing both the MENA region and the global community.
