GYA member Santosh Gupta has been elected as a Fellow (Academician) of the Asia Pacific Academy of Materials, as Fellow of Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, London, United Kingdom, and also as a Fellow of the Institute of Physics.

GYA member Luz Cumba Garcia has been selected as a fellow for the Foreign Policy for America NextGen Initiative, and as a fellow of the Inclusive Reflexive Facilitation Fellowship as well.

GYA member Pooja Devi has been selected as a TWAS Young Affiliate for the year 2025. This selection acknowledges her contributions in the field of quantum materials, 2D materials engineering, and energy technologies.

GYA member Jingyuan Xu has been honored with two awards: The Fraunhofer UMSICHT-Wissenschaftspreis, recognizing innovative research with strong practical relevance; and the Ökologiepreis of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, given for research in ecological sciences.

GYA alumna Cristina Blanco Sío-López has received the María Moliner National Research Award in the Humanities (Young Talent Modality) from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
