Forty young, brilliant scientists have become a member of the Young Academy of Belgium. They were selected out of a total of 146 applicants.
These young researchers have three aims:
(1) to facilitate contact and cooperation between researchers from different disciplines and make sure that concrete interdisciplinary activities take place,
(2) To create a place for reflection on science and science-policy, and on the future of science, and
(3) being active in the communication about science to society in general, and especially to children and students.
