The European Commission’s DG Research and Innovation is organising an online validation workshop, supported by Visionary Analytics, as part of a study on the future of researchers’ careers in Europe. The workshop will present foresight scenarios for researchers’ careers by 2040 and proposed policy pathways to support an aspirational future. Policymakers and R&I stakeholders are invited to provide feedback on their relevance, feasibility, risks and governance challenges. Input will inform the final report and help refine future policy recommendations. The workshop will take place online on 7 October 2026, from 9:30 to 11:30 CET. Registration for it closes on 2 October 2026.
