Biography
D43 Fellow in Precision Oncology Research at UC Davis (USA). Postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, UPC (Peru). PhD in Cancer immunotherapy and MSc in Molecular Medicine, graduated with Merit from University College London (United Kingdom). Member of the ISC Global Roster of Experts. Member of the UKRI International Development Peer Review College. Member of the Institutional Review Board of the School of Medicine at USMP. Experienced in lecturing at both post and undergraduate levels, mentoring, tutoring, and training of new staff and/or students. Highly skilled in molecular biology, gene editing and tissue culture techniques with experience in conducting translational research at academic and GCLP environments. Founder of DiploCiencia, a Peruvian online initiative to raise awareness on science diplomacy. Interested in genomic medicine, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, bioethics, science communication and science diplomacy.
