New Member Introduction Form

Dear New Members,

We are currently preparing the 2025 edition of the GYA magazine – GYA Connections – where we will introduce all incoming GYA members. In connection with this, we ask you to provide a short biography and a high-resolution photo that we can publish with a free license (upload below).

Portrait of yourself
We need your picture as a single data file (not within a Word or PDF document!) and of a high resolution, no less than 300 dpi.

It would be great if the picture has the data format .tif or .jpeg and has a data size around 1MB up to 5MB! This would lead to an appropriate print result.

Please make sure that the picture is taken from a neutral angle – that is, please provide a photo where you look straight into the camera (don’t use a selfiestick held high with the camera facing downwards/don’t take a selfie with your mobile phone! Instead, please ask someone to take a picture of you, if necessary).

This is the image with which you will be listed in the upcoming issue of our Connections magazine. Please ensure that the image you upload is print-ready - meaning, it should be 300dpi and of reasonable size. (Please note that this is NOT your website profile image. The profile image needs to be considerably smaller - while the portrait you upload here should be a large high-quality version.)
