KABLAN Malan Ketcha Armand (Côte d’Ivoire)

Well-grounded hydrogeologist and environmental scientist with outstanding experiences and skills in the field of climate change and human security, hydro-geological risk and disaster management, Dr. Kablan is employed at Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny as Lecturer and Researcher. His research interests include hydrology, hydrogeology, human security, climate change, vulnerability, and risk assessment, disaster risk management and reduction, and GIS. A distinguished scientist with a solid background in climate change and human security, he belongs to several learned societies such as the young scientist of the Integrated Research for Disaster Risk (IRDR), the Global Young Academy (GYA) and the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE). His Master of Science degree which training language was English, allowed him to have, in addition to French, a very advanced level in this international language.
