Biography
I am an Industrial Engineer with Diploma in Electrical Engineering. In 2010 I received a PhD in Physics from Harvard University and since then I am an Assistant professor at the Physics Department of Pontificia Universidad Cat—lica, Chile. My research consists on theoretical and experimental studies of quantum mechanics to create novel applications in metrology. In one of our research areas we work with high sensitivity and high spatial resolution sensors capable of detecting structures with nanometric resolution. We are interested in multidisciplinary investigations with biologists, engineers and physicians and in developing self-sustainable research areas.
