Biography
Dr. Ennaceri received her PhD in physics of materials (condensed matter physics) from Mohammed V University-Rabat in Morocco, where she worked on the improvement of the quality of Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plants by developing new reflectors and multifunctional coating materials that are lower in weight, more durable, energy efficient and cost-effective. Her work was conducted in close collaboration with the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie (HZB Berlin). Her research expertise includes materials synthesis and preparation, characterization, and testing of earth-abundant materials for energy conversion.
She is currently working at the Algae R&D Centre at Murdoch University in Australia, where she is undertaking cutting-edge work on low-cost solutions for microalgal biodiesel production. She has received multiple national and international awards including the Forrest research fellowship, the Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship, and the DAAD research scholarship.
