- GYA Mentoring Pool
The GYA Mentoring Pool aims at promoting within the GYA community the transfer of expertise and skills in areas that go beyond purely scientific work, but still form important aspects of an early career researcher’s activities and career development. It is a tool to connect those GYA members and alumni who are seeking guidance in any of the relevant fields with the ones who volunteer to share their experience and advice.
The Mentoring Pool is a networking opportunity: GYA members and alumni may browse the list of registered participants, see the skills and expertise offered or requested, and contact each other independently. It is important that participating alumni and members clearly speak about mutual expectations with one another at an early stage.
If you are a GYA alumnus or alumna or a GYA member willing to share your expertise, or looking for advice in a specific field, please fill in the questionnaire. If you are interested in both, please do it twice.
The GYA Office will collect the data and publish it on the GYA intranet (here). If a GYA member approaches you about a skills transfer, please discuss mutual expectations concerning time frame and procedure on an individual basis.
If you would like to be removed from the GYA Mentoring Pool, please contact the GYA Office at
