On 13 December 2019, The National Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters of Benin, together with the Academy of Young Scientists of Benin and the American Society for Microbiology held the first National Camp for Young Scientists of Benin.
Young academicians actively participated in this national meeting as facilitators, panelists and communicators during the two days of exchange, particularly during a capacity-building workshop.
The camp brought together 114 young researchers from public and private universities in Benin with the aim of aiding their development in areas such as scientific writing, avoiding plagiarism, the popularization of science, scientific leadership and other instructive themes.
