The GYA At-Risk Scholars Initiative is collaborating with the EU Joint Research Centre to offer the first of two planned training workshops for early-career at-risk scholars and researchers in 2019. The two-day workshop will address the European research landscape, different career paths, including within the JRC, funding, mentoring programs and practical career skills.

The 2018 Evidence and Policy Summer School in Laxenburg, Austria is organised by the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC), in collaboration with the International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA) and the Global Young Academy (GYA).
