Since 2019, the GYA At-risk scholars initiative has annually organised a workshop that brings together at-risk scholars based in the UK and volunteer experts in their fields, to support career development and professional skills in a broad academic context.
The workshop takes place at Wolfson College, University of Oxford, supported by funding from an anonymous grant to the College, and in cooperation with speakers from the UK Young Academy and the Young Academy of Scotland.
The 2025 workshop will be held from 5-6 September.
