The 2017 GYA Conference took place in Aviemore, Scotland, from 15 to 19 May 2017, and focused on ‘Social Justice in a Rapidly Changing World’. The International Conference of Young Scientists and Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the annual key event of the Global Young Academy. Young researchers from over 40 countries met with local young and senior scientists, government and NGO representatives, as well as science administrators from around the world to work together on the goals of this global organisation.
