This free program consists of a 24-week mentoring initiative for scientists based at African institutions who are working on infectious disease drug discovery projects and wish to apply open-source AI tools to their own research. It combines weekly online mentoring with an in-person workshop, enabling participants to work on their own datasets under the guidance of experienced scientific mentors. The AI Incubator is completely free, workshop expenses are covered by the Program, and each participant/team of participants will receive a $10,000 USD stipend.
