Biography

Abdulsatar Abduljabbar Sultan is a lecturer in the Business Management Department at Catholic University in Erbil since 2022. Born in Mosul in 1987, he completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Mosul, majoring in management information systems in 2009. He also obtained a master’s degree in knowledge management from the same university in 2012. Finally, he received his Ph.D. in Technology Management from the University Utara Malaysia in 2017.
Abdulsatar worked as a coordinator in the business administration department at the Lebanese French University for more than 8 years. From 2012 to 2018 he served as Coordinator in the Business Administration Department. He attained the position of Head of the Department of Health Administration at the Lebanese French University in 2019. From 2020 to 2021 he served as Health Department Administration Chair.
From 2018-2020, Abdulsatar was a part-time lecturer at the Erbil International University and Al-Qalam University. In December 2021, was awarded a scholarship by German Academic Exchange Service’s (DAAD)/RESI program. He also completed a research visit to the Faculty of Spatial Planning at TU Dortmund University Germany.
In addition, Abdulsatar worked as a consultant in the Training Unit of the Ministry of Education in the city of Mosul for two years. He joined the Catholic University in Erbil in September 2022 and holds the position of Head of the Department of Business Management. He has also held the distinction of being the only Iraqi member and the first in the Arab-German Young Academy of Science and Humanities (AGYA) since august 2022.
