The Einstein Postdoctoral Grant supports outstanding postdoctoral researchers at R2–R3 career stages in establishing links with Berlin’s research landscape, advancing independent research, and strengthening their path toward academic leadership or professorship. The programme aims to support researchers in the critical post-PhD phase and encourage long-term integration into Berlin’s academic system. Applications must be submitted by eligible Berlin institutions, including major universities and Charité, with candidates welcomed from Germany and abroad. Collaborations with non-university institutes and Hebrew University of Jerusalem are possible.
