GYA Co-Chair Koen Vermeir (Centre national de la recherche scientifique, France) adds that he hopes Mrs Obo-Nai will help the GYA attract highly qualified early-career scientists who pursue a career in industry to join the GYA. He points out that “Patricia Obo-Nai is a high ambition leader whose dedication to empowering young women in STEM will inspire the GYA and make a substantial impact on a global basis.”
