Yuliya Linhares

Biography

Yuliya Linhares, MD,  is a malignant hematology and bone marrow transplant specialist. Her research focuses on targeted therapies for hematologic malignancies. Dr. Linhares supervises and instructs internal medicine residents and hematology oncology fellows. She is an advocate for species preservation and environmental protection. She created a successful Monarch butterfly sanctuary and is a member of Bat Conservation International. She tirelessly educates her patients and students on the importance of eco-sensitive lifestyle. Dr. Linhares is a mother of two boys and is passionate about advocating for balanced lifestyle for women physicians and scientists.
