Biography
I complete my undergraduate and PhD studies in the University of Rome, before doing a post doc experience in the Centre for Protein Engineering of the Medical Research Council in Cambridge. In 2004, I returned in Rome where I established my independent research group and became a Professor at the end of 2012.
My research interest lies in understanding the mechanisms by which proteins fold into their correct shape, as well as in how they recognize and bind between each other.
