Biography
Phivos is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Nevada, Reno and the Cyprus University of Technology.
He obtained my BSc in Psychology, from Frederick University in 2019, where he graduated as the Valedictorian. In 2023, he received his PhD from the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Cyprus University of Technology. Between 2023-2025, he worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Western University & the Gray Centre for Mobility and Activity, at St. Joseph’s Healthcare.
Phivos is curious about the neuroscientific basis of cognitive processes. In detail, he is keen on investigating the neurologically healthy or damaged brain to discover basic neuroscientific evidence about perception, memory, and attention, with the use of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, eye-tracking, brain imaging, and behavioral experiments. He also promotes science communication and open science practices.
