Biography
Dr. Ogochukwu Udenigwe is a Lecturer of Health Promotion at La Trobe University and a global health and development scholar specializing in gender and health with a strong focus on decolonial and feminist approaches to health. Her interdisciplinary research addresses health inequities, gender and inclusion, and policy impact in global maternal health. Dr Udenigwe’s research program examines the socioeconomic and cultural contexts that shape maternal and reproductive health outcomes. Her work employs critical frameworks to unpack the intersections of identity, power, and policy, contributing to a better understanding of health system responsiveness and knowledge use in diverse settings.
