Onoja Matthew Akpa

Biography

Dr. Onoja Matthew Akpa holds a Ph. D. in Statistics from the Department of Statistics, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He is a seasoned young scientist whose areas of Specialization includes but no limited to BioMedical Statistics, Statistical Modeling, Mathematical Biology- modeling of infectious diseases etc. In recent time, his focus has been on applied statistics in biomedical research. Dr. Akpa has attended several local and international workshops and conferences to present his research findings. He has equally attended a number of summer schools in Biomedical Modeling and Mathematical/Statistical Modeling. In addition, he has original research articles published in local and internationally referred journal. He is currently a lecturer within the Department of Epidemiology and Medical Statistics, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
