Biography
Dr. Fitzgerald is an academic, with research expertise focused on the societal dimensions of environmental and climate policy making. Dr. Fitzgerald’s completed a PhD at the School of Politics & International Relations, University College Dublin in 2020. Prior to this Dr. Fitzgerald worked within civil society and environmental research organisations. Dr. Fitzgerald continues to be engaged with both academic and civil society applied research, in order to ensure research approaches are impactful to both scholarly communities and communities on the ground in areas impacted by environmental and climate policy making.
