Biography
Kassa Belay Ibrahim received his B.Ed. degree (2009) in chemistry and M.Sc. degree (2012) in analytical chemistry from Debremarkos University (Ethiopia) and Haramaya University (Ethiopia) respectively. After working as a lecturer at Adigrat University for 3 years, he was admitted to the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology where he was awarded his Ph.D. in Material Engineering and Nano-sciences (2018). Then, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Academia Sinica and National Taiwan University (Taiwan) for two years (2019-2021). Currently, he is a Research Fellow at Ca’Foscari University of Venice (Italy). He conducts research, advises Master/PhD students, and teaches courses. His research focuses on controllable synthesis and development of novel materials for electrocatalysis in green energy production and Synchrotron-based characterizations.
