On 1 April 2016, the GYA and the Young Academies of Europe released two statements on Open Data and Open Access.
The statements will be presented to the European Commission by GYA member Sabina Leonelli together with Rianne Letschert and Christian Lange from the Dutch Young Acaedmy on Monday, 4 April 2016, at the Open Science Conference in Amsterdam. The event is organized by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Open Science is a key priority to the Dutch EU 2016 presidency.
European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science, Carlos Moedas, will also attend the conference.
