Biography
Junpeng Li is a professor of sociology at the Central China Normal University and a China Public Policy Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School. A historical and political sociologist, he has broad interests in contentious politics, culture, and knowledge. His current research examines ideological convergence and divergence in contemporary China.
Li holds a PhD from Columbia University and is the book review co-editor of Studies of Transition States and Societies. He has received awards from the International Sociological Association and the Society for the Study of Social Problems.
