Biography
Julia is an award winning practitioner and an award winning academic in the area of leadership development, coaching and organisational wellbeing. She is a Professor in Leadership at EDHEC Business School and the Academic Director of the Global MBA program. Having published academic and professional articles as well as five books she is involved in research projects in the area of Leadership Coaching as well as Coaching Cultures. Julia is also an Honorary Professorial Fellow at the Sydney Business School and has been a Visiting Professor in Finland and worked at Sydney Business School (UoW), Melbourne University, Deakin University, Swinburne University, Collège des Ingénieurs, University of Bielefeld, University of Siegen and Monash University. Her qualifications include a PhD (Communications) and 3 Masters, (MA Business, Communication, Law; MA Business Coaching and Change Management; MA Professional Education and Training). Julia has worked or studied in Germany, North America, Canada, Spain, Finland, China, Belgium, France, Great Britain and Australia. Julia is a Director at the International Centre for Leadership Coaching (ICLC) and received a German Coaching Award in 2010 for her industry work and as a business coach and management consultant, she has delivered to all levels of management – working with several large consultancies and international companies. She designed and facilitated numerous ‘Managers as Coaches’ as well as Mentoring programs and looks at creating high performing organisational cultures, particularly Coaching Cultures.
