Biography
Jose Luis is a medical researcher at the Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico and honorary research fellow at University College London. He had represented his country at several events, including the Stockholm International Youth Science Seminar, the Nobel Prize festivities, and the Falling Walls Lab. He completed his postgrad studies at the University of Glasgow and the University of Groningen, studying novel biomarkers of type 2 diabetes and hypertension. He is now the head of the Digital Health Lab, where he works in the field of digital and molecular biomarkers for risk stratification of cardiometabolic disease.
