Biography
Jingyuan Xu is group leader at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. Prior to joining KIT, Dr. Xu worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge and a Research Associate at Imperial College London. Dr. Xu focuses on sustainable zero-carbon energy technologies, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy and/or waste heat. Her work aims to minimize global primary-energy use and reduce CO2 emissions for a sustainable future. She has published one book, 60 peer-reviewed journal papers, 20 conference presentations/papers, and owns 15 patents. Dr. Xu is the recipient of the IIR Sadi Carnot Award from the International Institute of Refrigeration, George T. Mulholland Memorial Award from the Cryogenic Society of America, and MIT Chemical Engineering Rising Stars.
