Javier M. Moguerza

Biography

Javier M. Moguerza (BSc in Mathematics, Complutense University of Madrid, 1995, PhD in Mathematical Engineering, University Carlos III of Madrid, 2000) is Full Professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC). In this institution, he has been Academic Director for International Relations, Vice-Dean for Research at the Computer Science School and Academic Secretary at the Computer Science and Statistics Department. His professional expertise is focused on Computational and Applied Mathematics, Optimization and Data Science. He participates in research projects with private and public funding and has publications in highly ranked scientific journals. He is the Secretary-Academician of the Young Academy of Spain since its foundation in 2019.
