Prof Raghavendra Gadagkar, president of Indian National Science Academy (INSA) has constituted a 3-member committee to draw up a draft proposal for an Indian Young Academy.
The committee is chaired by GYA alumnus Rajesh Gopakumar and includes GYA member Ranjini Bandyopadhyay and INSA young scientist Anindita Bhadra. They will submit their report by the 1st of July with the hope to establish an Indian Young Academy soon.
The GYA is particularly happy about this move after we actively support the establisment of an Indian Young Academy.
