Biography
Hussam is a Director of the Office of Industrial Partnerships (OIP) and an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) and an Associate Professor of Mechatronics Engineering at The University of Jordan. With a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University (OSU), his expertise encompasses renewable energy, energy storage, energy efficiency, green hydrogen, and water-energy NEXUS. Hussam has made notable advancements in bridging academia, government, and industry, fostering innovation and facilitating green growth. Prior to HTU, he was CEO of the National Center for Innovation (NCI) and Assistant Secretary-General of The Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST) and represented Jordan in various regional and international initiatives, focusing on sustainable solutions and innovation management.
