The latest edition of GYA Connections magazine is out now.
The themed articles in the current issue examine ‘Inclusiveness’ from various aspects. Articles include ‘Precarity vs. academic inclusiveness’, ‘Better equity for women without further disadvantaging others?’, and ‘The dichotomous reproduction of exclusion while seeking excellence’, among others.
The GYA Activities section includes an update on GloSYS Africa, as well as articles on the Africa Science Leadership Programme and the work of academies and young academies in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
A third section, GYA in Memories, features stories from founding GYA members and remarks from some of our external friends, while the last section provides introductions to our New Members for 2019.
