This year’s GYA Executive Committee in-person meeting took place in Halle, Germany from 23 to 27 September. In addition to a team-building workshop on the 24th, EC members met among themselves for two days at the Leopoldina to discuss governance issues. Attending members of the GYA Advisory Board included Ulrike Albrecht, Linda Nordling, and Luiz Davidovich, who all provided valuable input and advice.
Fruitful meetings were also held with a number of German Parliamentarians during a networking dinner sponsored by the city of Halle, including Halle Representatives Karamba Diaby and Christoph Bernstiel, as well as members of the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment in Berlin. The city of Halle will also partially sponsor the 2019 AGM, which will take place in Halle from 29 April to 3 May at the Leopolina.
