Biography

Cristian is a linguist from Argentina dedicated to the documentation, description, and promotion of linguistic diversity. His work focuses on the languages and ethnolinguistic groups of South America, particularly in the highly biodiverse and multilingual Gran Chaco region. He has specialized in the study of the Mocoví language and society, working closely with community members to support language maintenance and revitalization. His academic trajectory has taken him to Mexico, the United States, Germany, and Switzerland.
