Biography
Dr. Carlo Magno is presently a faculty and the graduate studies coordinator of the Counseling and Educational Psychology Department of De La Salle University, Manila. He finished his PhD in Educational Psychology major in Measurement and Evaluation. His research work and publications are classified into three areas: Instrument development and test analysis, teaching and learning, and social cognition. He specialize in the development of various scales such as the Academic Self-regulated Learning scale, scientific thinking, and responsibility for learning. He uses Item Response Theory to analyze test data. He has constructed and tested various models that better explains the relationshop between teaching and learning. He also published some researches on parenting, achievement emotions, language learning, and gratitude. He has published over 70 scholarly work and received several awards for his teaching and research.
