Biography

The head of the Community Service and Continuing Education Center Department at the University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS). She is a former head assistant of vocational diploma programs at UCAS from 2013 to 2018. She is also a full-time English language lecturer in the Humanities department since 2004. She obtained her BA. in English Language Education with an excellent grade in 2004. In 2014, she obtained her MA. in fundamentals of education from IUG. She holds a Ph.D. student at Yogyakarta State University (UNY) in Indonesia in the field of education management. She is also a certified TESOL/TEFL and IELTS trainer.

She developed different academic programs for Diploma and Bachelor by implementing competency based. Additionally, she has vast experience in utilizing curriculum mapping and using Complex Task Approach CTA. She was the head committee for developing life skills curriculum for higher education universities in Palestine. She also designed different modules of online courses as part of her job as a lecturer. She coached numerous training courses for academics in the fields of life skills, curriculum development, instructional design, online courses design, education leadership and life skills.

She participated in many local and international conferences, study days, workshops, and committees in the fields of curriculum, higher education management, leadership, strategic planning, quality management and

vocational education. She has also been involved in many international projects. Her research interests include curriculum development, English language teaching methodologies, education technology, education management, higher education reform, strategic planning, and quality management.
