Biography
Alice is a Professor at the Center of Sociological Studies at El Colegio de México, where she researches elites, ethnoracial discrimination, and perceptions of inequality. She holds a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, and masters’ degrees from the London School of Economics and Copenhagen BusinessSchool. She has been visiting researcher at the University of Oxford, Stanford University, CALAS-Guadalajara, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and UN ECLAC. Her previously research topics include inequality measurement, minimum wages, social policy, and comparative inequality in emerging countries.
