The Global Young Academy is interested in providing permanent access to the contents of your lecture online. Before doing so, we need to clarify the applicable rights of use (in particular copyright) with you. As the author of your lecture, you have the exclusive right of use to your work in accordance with Section 15 (1) of the German Act on Copyright and Related Rights (UrhG). This means that 1.) the Global Young Academy must obtain your consent before reproducing or distributing the contents of your lecture and making them available to the public, and 2.) such action must not infringe the rights of third parties. Before publishing your lecture online, we therefore require you to affirm that you have a licence entitling you to reproduce, distribute and make publicly available all the content you used in your lecture (e.g. infographics or photos from third parties).

Please note that no rights of use of third parties can be transferred to the Global Young Academy as a result of your consent and affirmation. Furthermore, your declarations do not limit your rights to use the contents of your lecture outside of the Global Young Academy.
